Saramanda's path to founding Wren's Nest is rooted in decades of caring for and nurturing children and communities. With degrees in Child Development and Psychology from Cal State Northridge, and more than 30 years of experience working with children, she brings a rare combination of artistic vision and deep human understanding to everything she does.
Before opening Wren's Nest, Saramanda owned Honey Tree Preschool in Longmont and Carbondale, served as a CASA volunteer with Voices for Children in Boulder County, and interned as a child life specialist at UCLA Children's Hospital.
Wren's Nest was born from her desire to create a space where children and adults alike could explore the arts and find a true sense of belonging. As an abstract artist, her own work has been collected throughout the U.S. and Canada.
